Sectors / Healthcare & NHS Supply
Healthcare tenders require a convincing account of quality, capacity and delivery. We help service providers and suppliers organise their evidence and explain how their offer will meet the buyer’s needs, without losing important technical detail.
Our support covers written submissions for healthcare services, medical and dental supplies, equipment and supporting services. We work alongside your clinical, technical and commercial specialists, who retain responsibility for professional judgments, product claims and proposed commitments.
How we support your bid
- Quality and governance: Explain accountability, risk management, incident learning and assurance using your established arrangements.
- Capacity and mobilisation: Describe staffing or stock availability, implementation, training, escalation and continuity under pressure.
- Product and supply responses: Present specifications, traceability, delivery arrangements, customer support and evidence relevant to the tender.
- Sustainability and value: Connect your proposed improvements to the buyer’s requirements, with measurable commitments that your business can support.
Relevant frameworks and buyers
For product suppliers, NHS Supply Chain explains its framework tender process and publishes procurement information. NHS England’s supplier guidance also identifies Atamis as a route to NHS opportunities and supplier assessments.
The route for clinical services can differ from that for goods. In England, in-scope healthcare services arranged by relevant authorities fall under the Provider Selection Regime. This does not mean every NHS purchase uses that regime. We start with the actual notice and documents to establish what written submission is required.
Building a credible submission
For a product tender, useful material includes specifications, relevant approvals, delivery data and supply continuity plans. For a service bid, the starting point is usually the clinical model, governance arrangements and evidence of delivery. We build a response plan around the material the buyer will assess.
A practical question
Do all NHS opportunities involve a competitive tender?
No. Different routes apply to different purchases, and some healthcare service selection processes do not involve a competition. We review the published opportunity before agreeing the writing support needed.
